Responsibilities
- Oversees overall activities in the procurement department and acts as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Identify potential suppliers based on sales or project requirements.
- Source, bid, select, and negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines for the best purchase package
- Schedule supplier/store visits and conduct competitor surveys.
- Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
Must Have
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree (pref. In Business or Engineering with specialization in Purchasing & Logistics or Supply Chain Management)
- At least 5 year(s) experience specializing in Purchasing/Inventory Warehouse Management
- Extensive experience working in the procurement department in a related field
- Strong understanding of procurement with diplomacy tact and negotiation techniques
- Good team player with integrity
